At The Star Light Inn, we respect your privacy and provide you with the right to request deletion of personal information associated with your account, including information received through social login services such as Facebook.
Request Deletion of Your Data
If you have used Facebook Login or another social login option on The Star Light Inn website and would like your account and associated personal information deleted, please follow the steps below.
How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

Please include the following information in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address used to register or log in
- The social login provider used, such as Facebook
- A clear statement requesting deletion of your account and associated personal data
For security purposes, we may ask you to verify that you are the owner of the account before processing the request.
What Data May Be Deleted
Depending on the services you have used, deletion may include:
- Account profile information
- Name and email address
- Social login identifier
- Profile information received from Facebook or other login providers
- Saved account preferences
- Other personal information associated with your website account
We do not request your Facebook password.
Booking and Transaction Records
Some information relating to hotel bookings, payments, invoices, reservations, or transactions may need to be retained where required for:
- Accounting and taxation
- Fraud prevention
- Legal or regulatory compliance
- Resolving disputes
- Business record-keeping requirements
Where retention is legally required, the information will be retained only for the necessary period and will not be used for unrelated purposes.
Processing of Your Request
After receiving a valid deletion request, The Star Light Inn will verify the request and process the deletion of eligible personal information.
We will make reasonable efforts to complete valid deletion requests promptly and in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Facebook App Data Removal
If you logged in using Facebook, you may also remove The Star Light Inn's access from your Facebook account:
- Log in to Facebook.
- Open Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Go to Apps and Websites.
- Find The Star Light Inn.
- Select Remove.
Removing the application from Facebook stops future access through Facebook Login. To request deletion of information already stored on our systems, please also send a deletion request to the email address mentioned above.
